Canada Day Celebrations
The Canada Aviation and Space Museum invites everyone to a great day of fun and entertainment! Celebrate Canada like never before at this country’s premier aerospace museum, with dynamic activities for the whole family. The Museum is the ideal venue in any weather: sun, rain or summer heat. Admission is free all day on July 1, but donations are welcome.
Schedule of Demonstrations and Performances
9:00 a.m. Museum and activity stations open
10:00 a.m. Rappelling Demonstration by the Ottawa Police Tactical Unit
10:30 a.m. Concert by BAM Percussion
11:00 a.m.* Performance by the Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks
12:00 p.m.* Fly past by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, the CF-18 Demo Hornet and aircraft from
Vintage Wings of Canada
1:00 p.m. Arrival of Nick Hilaire, Boots for Pups
1:30 p.m.* Rocket launch by the Ottawa Rocketry Group
2:00 p.m. Concert by BAM Percussion
2:00 p.m. Ejection Seat Demonstration in the Main Theatre
2:30 p.m. Autograph session with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the CF-18 Demonstration Team
3:15 p.m.* Rocket launch by the Ottawa Rocketry Group
3:30 p.m. Ejection Seat Demonstration
4:15 p.m.* Rocket launch by the Ottawa Rocketry Group
All activities and displays will be open from 9am to 4:30pm unless otherwise indicated.
Canada Day activities will be announced throughout the day by Rythme 97.1 FM Outaouais.

Many visiting aircraft will be flying in for Museum visitors. Come and speak to the pilots of these wonderful flying machines!
The Canada Aviation and Space Museum is located at the intersection of the Aviation and Rockcliffe Parkways, just 10 minutes from Parliament Hill. The Museum will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Canada Day, with special activities ending by 4:30 p.m.
