Popular biplane rides now offered in West end

OTTAWA, July 2, 2014 – If you’re living in the West end of Ottawa, the popular biplane rides offered by Central Aviation Inc. from the Canada Aviation and Space Museum (CASM) are coming to an airstrip near you.

Through the months of July and August, the popular flights aboard an open-cockpit vintage WACO biplane will be offered from the Carp airport, and will take adventurous passengers above Kanata and fly over the Canadian Tire Centre. Flights will be offered on Saturdays between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Tickets are $ 85 per person, including a free family pass for the CASM ($ 30 value), reservations are required. Each flight can accommodate two passengers. Flying helmets and goggles are provided.
