Ace Academy app wins prestigious Canadian Museums Association award

OTTAWA, May 6, 2015 – The Ace Academy app developed by the Canada Aviation and Space Museum (CASM) in partnership with SE3D won a prestigious award at the 2015 Canadian Museum Association conference.

The Ace Academy app, developed by the CASM in partnership with SE3D showcases the Museum’s unique collection of First World War-era aircraft in 2014, to mark the Centennial of the beginning of the first major conflict in which military aviation played a significant role.

Available for both Android and iOS mobile devices, the Ace Academy app has been downloaded over 13,500 times by users from 140 countries around the world. It has been awarded the CMA’s Outstanding achievement – New Media award at the Association’s annual conference held in Banff.
