From the Ground Up! Evening Program
From the Ground Up! engages your group in an evening of exciting activities and workshops, including a guided tour of the Museum. This program can be tailored to meet a variety of curriculum objectives. It’s also suitable for scouting and guiding groups or air cadets.
Evening programs start at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m., with time for a snack during the evening.
Choose your theme, or ask about custom options for scouts, guides, and air cadets.
From the Ground Up! — Aviation
Try out the controls of a Cessna 150, participate in amazing aerodynamics experiments, sit in an ejection seat, and take a guided tour of the Museum.
From the Ground Up! — Space
Sign up for astronaut training, conduct “Spacelab” experiments, blast off in a rocket workshop, and see the Canadarm. See the rest of the collection on display during a guided tour.
Need somewhere to stay? Consider sleeping under the wings of the Museum’s aircraft in a Night Flight sleepover.
From the Ground Up! meets curriculum objectives in Ontario and Quebec. It can also be tailored to accommodate guiding and scouting badges or air cadet groups. Discuss your requirements with Reservations staff.
Supervision ratios are 1:6 for participants age 6 and under, 1:8 for participants ages 7 to 12, and 1:10 for participants ages 13 to 18.
$14 per participant; $8 per chaperone (minimum fee of $390; maximum 35 people)
